Miriam Temple #2, Daughters of the Nile (DoN) –
Through the Daughters of the Nile Foundation (Canada), the Canadian Temples annually raise over $2 million dollars for the Shriners Hospitals for Children® in Montreal to be used for the medical care and rehabilitation of children. (The majority of BC “Shriners children” requiring orthopaedics, cleft lip and palate, burn care and spinal cord injury care are taken to the Shriners Children’s Hospitals for Children® in Portland or Spokane; which is supported by the DoN in the USA.)
They meet on the second Tuesday of every month (but are closed to non-members).

Members have fun together at activities such as swimming parties, dances, family picnics, slumber parties, miniature golf, marching in parades, and so much more. They also learn to successfully execute service projects to help their community and the less fortunate. They actively support the Hearing Impaired Kids Equipment (HIKE) Fund (Canada), which purchases hearing assistive devices for hearing impaired children.
Centre for Spiritual Living –
Services are every Sunday morning. All are welcome to join them for chair yoga at 10:10am, meditation at 10:30am and/or the spiritual service at 11 am.
